Things both living and non-living develop or are given their aesthetic and function. It is the connection and disparity between the two that informs the objects I make; it is the difference between derived form and applied design. I like to make things that have a function, whether it is a wearable or useable object. And as in nature, the aesthetic often evolves from an intrinsic purpose or need.
